Late/Absence Procedures

Absence

If you child is unable to attend school please contact us as soon as possible and no later than 9am on the day of absence. Parents/carers should report their child absent via Weduc (our secure Parent app). If for any reason this is not possible please send an email to office@wellandps.org.uk

 

To report absence via weduc click on your account and select your child who is unable to attend. Select Report Absence and provide dates and reasons for the absence. There if a facility to attach medical appointment letters within this section if required.

 

To report absence via email please email office@wellandps.org.uk

 

To report absence via telephone please call 01684 310246 and press 1 to leave a message reporting your child absent

 

In all cases please provide detailed reasons for the absence including symptoms of illness as we are required to record this information.

 

 

Lateness

Please contact school as soon as possible, if your child will be late for any reason. Children are required to be in school for registration at 9am.
